Energetic and family-focused
Growing up in the Shire in Sylvania Waters, Maria attended St Patrick’s Primary School and loved spending time with friends and family in the neighbourhood. Maria’s always been full of energy, and growing up she expended her energy by taking part in all the sport she could find – including netball, tennis, soccer and basketball.
As a second-generation Shire resident, Maria is now married and bringing up a daughter of her own in the area. Life out of work is family-, friends- and community-oriented, and Maria is involved with her daughter’s school, Our Lady of Fatima.
Maria loves walking, and there are plenty of gorgeous spots in and around the Shire to explore. One of her favourite things to do is the esplanade walk all the way to Salmon Haul where there is now a kids’ playground, much to her daughter’s delight. Other than that she spends time hanging out with friends either at home or out and about in the Shire.
