A big Shire fan

As a local resident for several years, Paul makes no secret of his admiration for the area’s strong community atmosphere, beaches and surrounding National Parks. Growing up, he would catch the train to the Shire and he has happy memories of heading down to Gunnamatta Bay or North Cronulla Beach for a swim.

Paul has lived in Sylvania since 2012 and is now delighted to be bringing up his two children in the area. He gets as involved as possible with the kids’ school and sporting activities, including soccer with the Sylvania Heights Trees, basketball at Sutherland and The Fathering Project via Sylvania Heights Public School.

Making the most of his downtime

Paul loves nothing more than spending time with family and friends. His ideal weekend would involve a stroll along the esplanade with his wife and kids, from South Cronulla to Elouera and Greenhills Beach, ending with a swim if it’s warm. Next, they’d enjoy lunch at Bianchini's in Elouera Beach, then wander through the promenade for some ice-cream. He enjoys playing golf with either mates or the kids at Woolooware or Barden Ridge Golf Club, or taking in a movie before visiting a local cafe or restaurant in Miranda.
