Ray White Menai and Sutherland donated and raised funds for both the 2015 Cancer Council Relay for Life and Mother’s Day Classic.
Relay For Life is a celebration of life, a time to remember those lost and an opportunity to fight back against cancer. It’s a team event where friends, family and co-workers register a team, then come down on the weekend and take turns to walk, run or jog to raise money for Cancer Council NSW while having an amazing time. Over 14 years this amazing experience has raised around 5 million dollars toward the fight against cancer. In 2015 the Sutherland event alone raised almost $377,000.
Similarly the Mother’s Day Classic saw 104 events across Australia and over 120,000 participants.
Staff members from our office have family and friends that have been directly affected by cancer so this is a cause close to our hearts.
